Biography
Samantha "Sam" Murdock is a certified New York City based Makeup Artist that specializes in beauty, fashion and wedding makeup artistry. She has been in the business for almost 10 years now and has worked with numerous photographers, models, on fashion shows, weddings and private events.
Samantha has always had a love for makeup. She started playing with makeup at a young age and by the time she was in high school, she was often spotted in the bathroom or staircases doing her friends makeup or shaping their brows. She official started her career as a pro makeup artist when she landed a job at Sephora as a Makeup Artist right out of high school. She continued working for the cosmetic giant throughout college and simutaneously started working for Mary Kay. After college, Samantha became a full time model and it was during this time that she decided to become a freelance artist. Samantha then attended Last Looks Makeup Academy and became certified.
In March 2009, Samantha took her talents to another level when she founded Sam Murdock Cosmetics, a multipurpose cosmetics line that "brings out the beauty in you". Even while managing a cosmetic company, Samantha continues to freelance as a Makeup Artist in New York and aboard.
